Well after last weeks success on the Jamega Tour I thought I would try to carry on the good form from the previous weeks.
The course itself provided more of a mental test, with burnt out fairways and very slow greens a very patient approach was needed. A very average 72 in the first round saw me a massive 8 shots off the lead. I obviously didn’t apply the patient approach very well!!!
However, a second round score of 63 saw me move up the leaderboard and finish a respectable 9th place. The round contained 7 birdies with no 5’s or bogeys on the card.
A special thanks to Matthew Clark who has been caddying the last two weeks and has been a welcome addition.
