I always look forward to this tournament, it's one of my favourite places in France to come with a great golf course and the beach a short walk away.

The golf course itself is relatively short, but tree lined and it puts a premium on driving accuracy and positioning your ball well in the fairway to attack the flags. My preparation has been far from great leading up to the tournament having been out injured for 5 weeks, but it was still great to be back and playing competitive golf again. Although my golf was from from where I would like it to be, I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately it was a short trip as I missed the cut by four, but I left feeling very optimistic for the season.

I took a trip down to Burhill Golf Club yesterday to see Mark Bull and have my bio-mechanics done. It was very insightful and found the problem that has been causing the injuries the last 7 months!! A lot of hard work and pain with the spikey balls will make a massive difference to both my golf game and my overall conditioning. Bordeaux on Monday for the next tournament.
