Firstly a belated Happy New Year to everyone, I hope 2012 brings great things to everybody.
The website is now back thanks to Alex Munro of http://supatraveller.com, we had to change the hosting which proved difficult as Alex had to transfer all the pages individually.
So since my last blog I have being resting at home, in the last two weeks I really have started to move around nicely without any pain, although still taking it very gingerly when sitting or getting into cars!! A visit to see the consultant last week led to him discharging me and the words ' bionic man' was mentioned so I think he was pretty happy with the progress been made!!!
I had my first phsyio session yesterday which again went really well, the healing for the operation is three months from the operation date which was the 8th December, but because of my ' great core strength' ( again the phsyio's words!) we can really push on with the rehab a lot earlier which is great news, so 20 minutes of cycling mixed in with a little swimming and some core exercise is whats on the cards for the next couple of weeks, I have another phsyio appointment next week on the 16th.
I really can't wait to get back playing golf again, and although it's going to take sometime finding the swing and getting the fitness levels back I can't wait to get started.
Also a massive thank you to Glenbrae who renewed my clothing contract for another year.
