As money was a little tight, I decided to drive to the golf course the morning of the the tournament, this was the worst possible thing I could of done, I felt terrible from the first ball I hit on the practice ground to the last ball on the golf course, the whole day was a massive struggle.

The golf course was one of the best I had played for a long time and the greens were perfect, unfortunately I was just out of sorts, I grinded it out the best I could and a 74 was the result and a tie for 7th place. I saw this as just a minor blip in what had been a good couple of weeks. It just shows what a crazy game golf is, I shot 60 at Market Rasen the day before and had it on a piece of string, Rasen is in the best condition I have seen it for a few years and was a pleasure to play.
